We are very proud to share that Tuccaro Group founder, President/CEO Dave Tuccaro will receive an honorary doctor of laws degree from the University of Alberta later this spring. Education is a core value of Dave’s that he supports not only financially, but also in sharing his knowledge and experience with new and aspiring entrepreneurs. Last week Tuccaro was one of the sponsors of NAABA’s Indigenous Business Summit. The Summit included a Quick Connect event allowing companies to speak directly to industry decision makers and introduce, or reintroduce our companies.
A highlight of the event was a fireside chat with Tuccaro Group President/CEO Dave Tuccaro, along with his long time friend Calvin Helin, they shared their business insights and answered questions around Indigenous Business and what we as a community can do to strengthen Alberta and Canada’s economy and security.
The Tuccaro Group congratulates our President/CEO Dave on being named to the Order of Canada. On December 18, 2024 Governor General Mary Simon announced that Dave, along with Nicole Bourque-Bouchier have been appointed to the Order of Canada. Dave and Nicole are the first two people from the Wood Buffalo region to be bestowed with this honour, we could not be prouder.

Tuccaro is a proud sponsor of the Holy Trinity Northern Knights Varsity Boys Basketball team. The team is currently ranked 5th in the province and have been invited to the Western Canadian Basketball Championships this year. We wish the team the best of luck in the tournament and the rest of their season here in Fort McMurray!
