National Indigenous Peoples Day is a day recognising and celebrating the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples of Canada. This day is an occasion for all Canadians to celebrate the rich contribution Aboriginal people have made to Canada.

The 2019 FNMI Festival will beheld on the McMurray Metis Office Grounds 441 Sakitawaw trail in Gregoire. Throughout the day, there will be kids’ activities, vendors BBQ and live entertainment. Everyone is welcome, Free for all to attend.
