National Aboriginal Day.

A proud Aboriginal company, Tuccaro celebrates National Aboriginal Day!

For many generations, indigenous Peoples have traditionally celebrated their cultures and heritage on or near the summer solstice. 20 years ago, the Government of Canada chose this day to recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures and valuable contributions of our First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples.  Communities across Canada celebrate by participating in annual festivities which can include music, dance, artwork, traditional games and traditional food.

This day is an occasion for all Canadians to celebrate the rich contribution Aboriginal people have made to Canada.

The Nistawoyou Friendship Center is hosting National Aboriginal Day celebrations today from noon til 4pm at the Nistawoyou Friendship Center, 8310 Manning Ave. This free event is open to the public.

We would like to thank all of our employees for their hard work and dedication to helping to make us a leader within the Aboriginal community!
